Bearing Technology & Lubrication System

DESKRIPSI
This course covers real-world bearing lubrication in a dynamic, skills-based learning approach. Upon course completion, students will have learned the skills needed to choose, apply and maintain lubricants in bearing applications plant wide.
Upon completion this course,
• Participant will be able to evaluate and select appropriate lubricants for a wide variety of rolling element bearing applications. For greased applications, this includes choosing an appropriate grease base, stiffness, base oil and additives, if needed, for proper operation.
• The participant will also be able to compute grease intervals and re lubrication amounts for a variety of application conditions, such as contamination, high or low temperatures and vibration.
• For oil lubricated applications, the participant will be able to choose the correct oil viscosity, delivery method (standing oil, circulating oil, air/oil, oil mist) and oil change out intervals.
• The participant will be to evaluate filter effectiveness, and to select and apply appropriate filter(s).
• The participant will be able to troubleshoot common lubrication problems and recommend corrective actions.

Electrical & Mechanical Rotating Equipments

DESKRIPSI
Most of plant’s equipments are rotary. Therefore, understanding the principles of rotating equipments is very essential. Identification of failure modes and monitoring methods of failure symptom are important as well, for establishing the most effective maintenance program.
This course begins with discussing the definition of rotating equipments, their types and their primary functions, as well as the general characteristics of rotating equipments in relation with their performance. Then, a detailed discussion on primary rotating equipments, namely pumps, compressors, turbines and fans/blowers, will be given. The discussion includes the classification for each type, the performance characteristics and the frequent failure modes. This course is closed with a procedure to conduct alignment of axles and predictive maintenance for rotating equipments.

Deskripsi
Peningkatan dalam bidang perbekalan atau sarana dan prasarana adalah berarti meningkatkan efisiensi material dan memaksimalkan output dalam bentuk pelayanan terhadap pelanggan. Terlebih lagi, pada perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pengelolaan alat berat, sehingga aspek pemeliharaan dan fungsi administrative lainnya dalam penanganan alat berat yang dimiliki dan sarana-sarana pendukung lainnya, merupakan hal yang inti karena berkaitan dengan kegiatan utama perusahaan.
