DESKRIPSI
Perencanaan produksi (Operation Planning) adalah salah satu dari berbagai macam bentuk perencanaan yaitu suatu kegiatan pendahuluan atas proses produksi yang akan dilaksanakan dalam usaha mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan perusahaan.
Perencanaan produksi sangat erat kaitannya dengan penjadwalan dan pengendalian persediaan sehingga sebagian besar perusahaan manufacture menempatkan fungsi perencanaan dan pengendalian persediaan dalam satu kesatuan.
Fungsi perencanaan produksi adalah bagian dari rencana bisnis jangka menengah yang merupakan tanggung jawab bagian manufaktur / operasional yang memiliki peran strategis untuk dikembangkan.
