Di dalam operasi industri diperlukan pengendalian kecepatan motor rotating equipment agar didapatkan suatu hasil produk yang memiliki daya saing yang tinggi. Untuk itu bagi tenaga yang menangani bidang tersebut memerlukan pemahaman tentang Variable Speed Drives (VSD) yang merupakan perlatan pengendalian kecepatan motor rotating equipment agar dapat melaksanakan operasi dengan baik serta mampu merawat peralatan dengan benar.
