Bidang kontrol/ instrumentasi dalam dunia industri mempunyai peranan yang sangat significant, apalagi dalam proses yang membutuhkan presisi, kehandalan dan keamanan sistem. Instrumentasi industri telah menjadi bidang yang memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar terutama dalam kegiatan otomatisasi industri. Sistem Instrumentasi merupakan sebuah sistem yang meliputi pengaturan variable-variabel seperti temperature (temperature), tekanan (pressure), aliran (flow) dan kecepatan (speed). Variable-variable ini merupakan keluaran yang harus dijaga tetap sesuai dengan keinginan yang telah ditetapkan terlebih dahulu oleh operator yang disebut set point.
Dalam pelatihan ini peserta akan mempelajari tentang Logic Function, Operation, Instrumentasi Sistem Digital, sistem konstruksi, operasi, menghindari hazards dengan cara mengontrol process elektronik dan pneumatic, serta troubleshooting instrumentation system. Sehingga peserta akan mengerti dan paham tentang instrumentasi, mengerti tentang dasar-dasar industrial process control.

Defect Prevention Statistical Process Control

DESCRIPTION
Kualitas suatu produk banyak ditentukan oleh seberapa kecil kesalahan yang terjadi dalam proses produksi. Namun demikian, banyak perusahaan melakukan proses “penangkapan” kesalahan dalam bentuk proses inspeksi atau sortir. Kesalahan yang sering muncul adalah bahwa tugas menjaga kualitas produk, hanya pekerjaan depertemen Quality Control (QC), baik di bagian incoming maupun outgoing.
Padahal, seperti kita ketahui bersama, mutu produk tidak terjadi pada saat diperiksa atau diinspeksi, tetapi terjadi pada saat produk tersebut sedang diproses. Oleh karena itu, penting sekali untuk mengendalikan proses. Alat bantu yang terpenting adalah Statistical Process Control atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai SPC.
SPC adalah suatu pendekatan agar proses senantiasa dalam keadaan terkendali. SPC ini merupakan alat yang handal untuk mencegah terjadinya produk yang cacat, karena inti penerapan SPC adalah mengidentifikasikan masalah secara dini sebagai tindakan pencegahan.

OBJECTIVES
This course is intended for entry-level instrumentation mechanics or experienced electricians who need to understand the basics of industrial process control. With a focus upon OSHA compliance, the participants will be introduced to process control with the understanding that the individual must be qualified person to be able to work on the equipment. With that in mind the person will learn about the construction, operation, and how to avoid the hazards associated with both pneumatic and electronic process controllers.
